India can be an awe inspiring as well as frustrating place all in the same minute. India is home to some of the most spectactualr medieval structures as well as some of the poorest slums in the world. There are regilious festivals, traffic jams, modern museums and ancient wonders to explore in India. Be sure to do your research before traveling to India. Pricing for goods and services are not always exact and everyone wants to haggle. Just be sure to be prepared for the different lifestyle of India. If you know English, you will be able to get around in India. Before you visit India, be sure you find out what sort of documents, passports and visas will be required depending on your length of stay and reason for traveling to India.



Delhi is the capitol of the world's biggest democracy - India. Delhi is a strange city where the locals do not even take pride in the city. There are crumbleing ruins which no one seems to care about and extensive poverty. The tourist attractions are located in one area in Delhi, India. They are located in Old Delhi, New Delhi and South Delhi. Be sure to see the Lal Qila (Red Fort) and the Jami Masjid, India's largest Mosque. There is extensive shopping to be done in Delhi as well as an active nightlife. If you are unsure of your surroundings and wish to see as much as possible in a short amount of time, it may be wise to join a tour group or hire a private guide for your time in India.
