Traveling To Asia

Asia is the largest and most populated of Earth's continents - about 60 percent of the world's human population lives in Asia. Not many Americans consider Asia for vacation relative to Europeans. For instance, the beaches of Phuket, Thailand are some of the most beautiful anywhere on the planet and until recently have been a relatively obscure destination except by Asians and those in the know, especially Europeans. Today, if you visit Phuket you will find a concentration of French and German travelers with only a spattering of American tourists. Perhaps some of this has to do with the flight time to get to Thailand. It can take nearly 20 hours from the US and a plane ticket would run over $1,000. Do not let travel barriers like this deter you from seeing Phuket in your lifetime. It truly is spectacular and well worth the long expensive flight.
